150 miles to go to northern Spain and the breeze kicks in. We are cruising along a beam reach at 8 knots. There is a strong current now so we have the engine on as well. The 53 gallon tank had more than enough diesel for the whole trip from Dartmouth across the bay.
But 5 am the fuel gauge reads nearly zero so we have to sail the last 60 miles and now the breeze is 20-30 kts and squalls. By noon we have arrived in A Coruna after 36 hours onboard.
A welcome shower and off for a beer!
