Having sorted out the boat we went in search of dinner - the aim being to find a traditional Spanish restaurant, far removed from the pizza parlours, Italian and Indian posing restaurants on the sea front. Our look was in as we found one after a 20 minutes uphill stroll. It was well worth the effort as we were rewarded with another cheap meat feast. At midnight the proprietors started stacking up the chairs and tables around us, so we decided it was time to leave, and it was back to Echo for a good nights sleep, which was rudely awakened at 7.45am by Terry moaning that he had been bitten by mosquitos. As we got up we found that they had had a good munch of all of us.
The remaining 4:- Colin, Terry, John and Kevin then headed for the Tourist Information office to find a laundrette. The office was in the Square of Oranges in the pretty old town, much of a change from the touristy waterfront, full of concrete hotels and apartment blocks. Having dropped the washing at the laundrette we carried on walking up to the Bull Ring which was a concrete monstrosity and also closed.
We then wandered back to Echo to await Andy and Colin Rainback, who duly arrived after 1pm. Following a leisurely lunch the party split up, some venturing out, others staying for a snooze.
